She is the Broker in Charge for Jim Smith & Associates, Inc. and is licensed in SC and NC. She is a member of the Spartanburg South Carolina and National Association of REALTORS, Spartanburg MLS and NC Canopy MLS covering Western NC. Rachel lists and sells residential property, farms, acreage and land and has been a consistent multimillion dollar producer for 28 years. She graduated from the University of South Carolina Columbia in 1991 and has held numerous positions of service in our community. She served on the Board for the American Red Cross Board, and is a graduate of Leadership Spartanburg, Class of 1996. Rachel completed the Karrass Negotiating Seminar in Atlanta in 1997, the South Carolina Association of Realtors, Graduate Realtors Institute program in 1999. She currently serves on the Spartanburg District 2 Board of Trustees since 2015. 

Rachel has been married to Bryan Yelton since 1993. He is a Pastor at Poplar Springs Baptist Church. They have 3 children, Jimmy (Morgan), who has joined the family in the real estate business with Jim Smith & Associates, Inc, Mary Melissa (Caleb), a teacher in Columbia, SC & Anna Claire, a Senior at North Greenville University. She has two precious grandchildren and loves spending time with family and friends as well as her church family, present and past. She is currently serving at Poplar Springs Baptist Church and was blessed by serving many years at New Pleasant Baptist Church as well as View Church in Boiling Springs. She enjoys time on her family farm. She has a wonderful old Lab named Ginger as well as cows and horses. She has recently welcomed two Alpacas to the farm. She feels honored to be a part of her family Real Estate Business where she has the privilege of helping people find their dream homes and farms.
